Senator Jackson to Introduce Bipartisan Resolution Congratulating Biden-Harris Administration

Columbia, SC - State Senator Darell Jackson (D-Richland) announced plans today to introduce a resolution in the South Carolina Senate congratulating President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris on their victory. Senator Jackson is actively seeking bipartisan support for the resolution, which he plans to bring to the floor the first day the State Senate holds session in 2021.

“After a tumultuous national election that seemed to polarize our nation, bipartisan unity is needed now more than ever” said Senator Jackson. “My hope and intent is that both Republicans and Democrats here in South Carolina can come together to officially recognize and congratulate Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on their election to the White House, as we have previously done for both Democratic and Republican Administrations.”
